Passenger Accidents, Relatively Common

It’s unfortunate, but passenger accidents and injuries are relatively common. With cruise ships carrying nearly 20 million passengers per year within the industry, accidents ranging from minor to serious or even worse can happen…and they often do.

Our office receives calls weekly from passengers who were injured on cruise ships – sometimes because of the negligence of the cruise line or its crew members.

Passengers who suffer knee injuries, internal injuries, head injuries or various other injuries because of the accident often don’t know what to do once they return home from the cruise. Visits to their doctor for medical treatment is the first course of action, but filing a claim against the cruise line for financial compensation for their injury is often a ‘2nd call’.

And, quite often, when passengers begin to get frustrated with the process of filing a claim directly, they’ll turn to cruise ship accident attorneys for help.

If you were injured on a cruise ship, a quick conversation with a lawyer might make all the difference in the world. For more information, please contact the attorneys at Waks and Barnett, P.A. in Miami. 1-800-905-2891.
