The Miami Herald reported yesterday, Feb. 10, that the Princess Cruises cruise ship Regal Princess headed back to port in Miami because of a medical emergency of not just one, but two male passengers.
No further details regarding the emergency have been released that we can find, though both the South Florida Gay News and CruiseLawNews.com indicate that drug overdoses may be the reasoning for the emergency.
The Regal Princess disembarked from Fort Lauderdale on Sunday and had reached the Bahamas, but returned to PortMiami due to the emergency.
