Recent news reports tell about a Scottish woman who was awarded compensation after she contracted the Norovirus aboard a P&O Cruise Line ship, The Aurora.

Apprently, the woman “suffered severe abdominal cramps and diarrhoea during a world cruise on P&O Cruise Lines’ Aurora.

She was awarded £8500. Carnival U.K., the owners of P&O Cruise Lines paid the compensation under the condition that they did not accept liability.
